Titus Battle, Founding-Director of The Promise to Children Foundation, Inc., is a Miles College graduate, former Head Tutor at JJ’s Freedom Center, and a lifelong child advocate.
He has served as:
– Episcopal Youth Minister at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
– Chief Mentor for “The Young Lions,” a ministry for Black boys without fathers
– Youth theatre leader with Make It Happen Theatre Company
– Published author of Diary of a Worthless Man
– Recipient of multiple Veteran Accommodations for service, resilience, and recovery
His work continues to inspire movements rooted in Love (Treat with Dignity & Respect), healing, and truth. This Foundation is not just his vision—it's his vow.

Grand Opening of “Heaven” – Birmingham, Alabama
Join us in Summer 2026 for the official Grand Opening of Heaven, a Child and Family Resource Center created by The Promise to Children Foundation, Inc.
This sacred space is being established in Honor and Admiration for the brave, young souls who marched in the streets of Birmingham—
The Children’s March of 1963—and changed the world with their courage, conviction, and truth. We open Heaven in their name.
We continue their legacy through Love (Treat with Dignity & Respect), education, refuge, and creative expression.
Heaven will not be a symbol of hope—it will be a place that lives it.
